Finn Rasmussen is Senior Programme Manager at International Media Support (IMS). He currently manages a media development programme in Somalia and is IMS’ focal person for humanitarian information and communication. He has extensive experience on media development and communication issues related to countries marked by conflict and humanitarian crisis from Africa and Latin America. He has an MA in cultural sociology from University of Copenhagen and has previously worked for the Denmark’s development cooperation Danida and UNDP. He has published a number of books on mass media, political communication and international affairs. He is interested in developing tools and approaches for communication with disaster affected communities.
